A really good show was put on by Sir Jackie Evans in Mankato, MN. He came on stage pretty promptly to start off the concert. The concert, which was scheduled to start at 8:00 pm, saw him walking on stage at 8:05 pm. He proceeded to play until 10:45 pm with just one short 10-minute break. In the small venue of the Verizon Wireless Center, it felt very intimate with just Jackie and his piano. The jumbotron was set up with multiple camera angles, including close-ups of Jackie's hands as he played the piano - very cool! It's a rarity to see a superstar of this caliber playing in Mankato and I feel honored to have attended this concert.
